About the Kraut
How do you describe the wind? How do you explain love?
The Golden Kraut and the Silvery Beans are awards of excellence sponsored by Nashville, TN interactive agency and web design firm CentreSource. As the developers – ney, the discoverers – of these items, we award two Golden Kraut and two Silvery Beans each month: one pair to the most Kraut-ly members of our team, and two to the friends of our firm who exhibit the most Krautliness in that month.
About the Golden Kraut:
Golden Kraut is more than a can of Kraut radiating a golden hue as if reflecting the brilliance of the Sun. It’s a symbol – a beacon of unity, hope, and love. It’s been said that people who are awarded the Golden Kraut instantly understand — but cannot enunciate – the path to world peace and everlasting happiness.
We also have suspicions that people who hold the Golden Kraut live twice as long as normal humans. Unfortunately, Golden Kraut has not been in the hands of mortals long enough for us to empirically test this theory.
About the Silvery Beans:
It is mistakenly believed that Silvery Beans play second fiddle to Golden Kraut, as if Silvery Beans are some sort of second place prize. This belief is patently false.
Silvery Beans represent the ultimate source of cool – that “je ne se quois” only understood by Chuck Norris, Tom Selleck, Marilyn Monroe, Vin Diesel, Pat Benatar, and David Lee Roth. The Silvery Beans are a monument to grace under pressure, a cool unaffectedness, and the embodiment of style points.
We’re lucky to know those capable of holding the Silvery Beans – their life makes ours more beautiful merely by association. The holders of Silvery Beans are so cool they leave a wake of cool behind them, and we are merely swimming in their choppy waters of awesomeness.
